The mission of the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Charlotte is “inspiring women to promote education, social and cultural outreach in the Charlotte community and beyond through our philanthropic commitments.” Founded in 1947, Charlotte Juniors exists to provide both financial and hands-on volunteer support to many local organizations.
Charlotte Juniors is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). Honoring the motto of “Unity in Diversity,” we come together as unique individual women dedicated to community improvement through our varied volunteer projects.
In 2012, Charlotte Juniors volunteered for and organized over 30 service projects and served over 350 volunteer hours. We are always looking for enthusiastic women who are passionate about volunteering in their community while building meaningful friendships with fellow women! Come visit us during our business meetings held at the Mint Museum of Art on Randolph Road or at one of our volunteer projects. Check out the calendar on our website, join our group on Facebook or email us to find out how to get involved TODAY.
